Otojatim.com - PT Honda Prospect Motor officially introduces the presence of the All New Honda Accord RS e:HEV, a premium Honda sedan featuring e:HEV hybrid technology and the sporty RS variant design. The launch event took place in Jakarta on December 7, 2023.
The latest generation of the All New Honda Accord not only embraces e:HEV hybrid technology but also introduces various advanced features, including Honda CONNECT connectivity, to enhance driving comfort and safety.
The Accord Hybrid was first introduced in the United States at the end of 2022 as an environmentally friendly vehicle with e:HEV hybrid technology. This technology combines electric motor and gasoline engine to provide an efficient driving experience in various conditions.
The latest feature in this model is the EV Switch, allowing drivers to choose between three power management modes according to their preferences. The Auto mode automatically adjusts to the most efficient driving mode, EV mode relies entirely on the electric motor for an emission-free experience, and Charge mode is used to distribute power from the gasoline engine to recharge the vehicle's battery.

The All New Honda Accord RS e:HEV is available in three color options: Platinum White Pearl, Crystal Black Pearl, and Ignite Red Metallic, with a price of Rp 959,900,000* (on-the-road price in Jakarta for the 2024 chassis number).
The All New Accord RS e:HEV brings significant improvements in design, premium interior features, and advanced engine performance. The sportier exterior design is evident in the RS emblem installed on the Black RS Aero Kit on the sides, front, and rear of the car. Additional features include a Black Shark Fin Antenna, Black Trunk Ducktail, and Power Retractable Black Door Mirror with Auto Folding & LED Turning Signal on the side mirrors.
The cabin of the All New Honda Accord RS e:HEV is designed to provide maximum visibility to the driver. With the 11.5” Interactive Head-up Display integrated with the Headunit and Metercluster, drivers can see driving information, such as navigation, Honda SENSING indicators, and vehicle speed, projected onto the windshield. The 10.2” Interactive TFT Meter Cluster displays various information, including the speedometer, fuel meter, full-screen map, and more.
The steering wheel is coated with premium leather and equipped with Steering Switch Audio & Honda SENSING, making it easy for drivers to control the audio system and safety features. Additional features such as Deceleration Paddle Selector and Experience Selection Dial make the driving experience more comfortable and personalized.
The All New Honda Accord RS e:HEV is equipped with a 2.0-liter direct-injected 4-Cylinder Atkinson cycle DOHC engine paired with an Electrical Continuously Variable Transmission (E-CVT). The electric motor in this car produces a maximum power of 184 PS and a maximum torque of 335 Nm, while the 2.0L DOHC i-VTEC Engine gasoline engine provides a maximum power of 145 PS.
The combination of both generates a total power of 207 PS. The e:HEV technology allows efficient collaboration between the electric motor and the gasoline engine, creating a fuel-efficient yet powerful driving experience. The EV Switch feature provides three driving modes that can be customized according to the driver's preferences: Auto, EV, and Charge.
The All New Honda Accord RS e:HEV is equipped with various advanced safety technologies, including the Honda SENSING system involving functions such as Auto High-Beam with Adaptive Driving Beam (AHB with ADB), Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBSTM), Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow (ACC with LSF), as well as 8 SRS Airbags, Active Cornering Light, Pop-up Hood System, and Honda LaneWatch to enhance the safety of drivers and passengers.
