OTOJATIM - MG Motor Indonesia has officially unveiled the new MG ZS Hybrid+ at the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026, introducing the company's latest hybrid SUV to the Indonesian market. The model is offered with a special introductory price starting from Rp299.9 million (OTR Jakarta) for the first 1,000 customers, accompanied by an extensive after-sales package designed to enhance long-term ownership.
"Indonesia is one of the first two countries where MG's latest Hybrid+ technology has been introduced. We developed the MG ZS Hybrid+ to address the evolving expectations of today's consumers, who are looking for a vehicle that delivers multiple strengths in a single package," said Jason Huang, Chief Executive Officer of MG Motor Indonesia.
The MG ZS Hybrid+ expands the brand's New Energy Vehicle (NEV) lineup in Indonesia with its latest Hybrid+ powertrain, combining a gasoline engine, an electric motor, and a three-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT). The intelligent hybrid system automatically switches between eight propulsion modes to optimize fuel efficiency, driving performance, and overall refinement across different road conditions.
The new SUV also places a strong emphasis on safety and everyday usability. MG equips the ZS Hybrid+ with 15 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), seven airbags, and a five-star ANCAP safety rating. A spacious cabin and practical storage areas further enhance comfort for daily commuting and family travel.
During the launch period, the MG ZS Hybrid+ Ignite is available at a special introductory price of Rp299.9 million (OTR Jakarta), while the Magnify variant is offered at Rp329.9 million. Following the promotional period, the official retail prices will be Rp329.9 million for the Ignite and Rp359.9 million for the Magnify.
MG complements the launch with a comprehensive ownership program. Every MG ZS Hybrid+ comes with a six-year or 150,000-kilometer vehicle warranty, an eight-year or 160,000-kilometer warranty covering the battery, electric motor, and motor controller, as well as a six-year or 150,000-kilometer engine and transmission warranty. Customers also receive free scheduled maintenance for four years or 80,000 kilometers, complimentary i-SMART internet services for three years, free window tint, floor mats, and a 0% financing program for up to two years for eligible buyers among the first 1,000 customers.
Beyond the ZS Hybrid+, MG also showcased the updated MG Cyberster at GIIAS 2026. The all-electric roadster now features wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a Digital HD 360-degree Camera, Bluetooth Key functionality, One Touch ADAS Memory Function, improved front suspension damping, and a new Irises Cyan exterior color.
The company's electric vehicle portfolio has also grown with the addition of three MGS5 EV variants—Ignite, Magnify, and Magnify Max—offering customers a wider selection of battery-electric vehicles to suit different lifestyles and driving preferences.
