Specifications of the Toyota Kijang Innova Zenix
One thing that stands out from this latest series is the presence of a panoramic sunroof which makes it more competitive than rivals. In terms of size, it turns out to be very large, stretching from front to back so that passengers can easily see the natural scenery from inside the cabin. The existence of this sunroof not only makes the cabin seem more spacious, but also elegant thanks to the ambient light on the left and right sides.
The existence of this panoramic sunroof has changed the position of the AC vent, no longer in the middle like the usual double blower but moved to the side close to the pillars.
Another notable difference is the captain seat with the ottoman type which is more comfortable for passengers because of the foot rest which makes the sitting position more relaxed.
From the exterior, the Zenix looks similar to the Innova Reborn. But if you look closely, some changes make it look more modern and impressive in the style of an SUV. Among them are the dimensions of the larger grille, the Toyota logo with blue accents which characterizes hybrid cars, LED headlamps, fog lamps and DRLs. There are 5 5 color choices including: White pearl, Black, Dark Steel, Grey, and Silver.
The diesel engine variant that was previously in the Innova is gone, replaced by a petrol engine and a petrol hybrid engine. Zenix uses the latest generation TNGA 2,000 cc engine M20A-FKS Dynamic Force as its heart, capable of producing 172 hp at 6,600 rpm and 204 Nm of torque at 4,500-4,900 rpm.
For the hybrid variant, Zenix relies on the M20A-FXS engine with power reaching 150 hp at 6,000 rpm, torque of 187 Nm in the 4,400-5,200 rpm range. Meanwhile, the electric motor promises 110 hp power with 205 Nm of torque. Combined power output reaches 184 hp.
Power output is no longer using a 6-speed Sport Sequential automatic transmission, but a 10-speed Direct Shift CVT transmission, which is predicted to be able to deliver powerful performance with more efficient fuel consumption.
"Increased performance is an average of 25% better, fuel consumption is more than 50% efficient compared to the current gen, this combination contributes to reducing emissions by an average of almost 50%," said Henry, Vice President Director of PT Toyota-Astra Motor (TAM) .
This MPV car also embeds several modern features. One of the mainstays is TSS (Toyota Safety Sense) version 3.0 or similar belonging to the Toyota Voxy and bZ4X. This technology is integrated with the Pre-Colission System (PCS), Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC) with Curve Speed Reduction, Lane Tracing Assist (LTA), to Automatic High Beam (AHB). \
Not to forget the T-Intouch technology, which can comprehensively integrate a car with a smartphone. In this way, the owner can find the location of the car just by looking at the smartphone (find my car). There is also a feature that makes it easier to find a vehicle if it is stolen (stolen vehicle tracking).
