Jakarta, Otojatim.com - PT Mercedes-Benz Distribution Indonesia presented its first full electric vehicle lineup in Indonesia, the Mercede-sEQ, through the launch of two of its latest models the new EQS and the new EQE. The launch of the Mercedes-EQ was held at Mercedes-EQ SPACE, Senayan City, which will be opento public from 9 December, 2022 to 8 January, 2023.
Mercedes-EQ symbolizes Progressive Luxury and is the first full electric vehicle lineup from Mercedes-Benz. Mercedes-EQ started out as a new technology brand and grew into a subbrand of Mercedes-Benz due to theoverriding importance for electric vehicles and the future of mobility.

Globally, Mercedes-Benz AG has invested more 10 billion Euros for the development of the Mercedes-EQ. Mercedes-Benz first introduced its electric vehicle concept on 2016 and the first Mercedes-EQ model was launched in 2018. Until now, Mercedes-EQ has continued to show great progress, with sales of more than 210. 500 units globally in the first 9 months of this year.
Sustainability is very important for Mercedes Benz, which is why we have a vision for non emission free fleet of vehicles. This vision is known as Mercedes-Benz Ambition 2039,where we have an ambition to be neutral by 2039 and go all electric by the end of the decade, where market conditions allow.
The Mercedes EQ lineup is the manifestation of Ambition 2039,and we are very excited to finally have our full electric vehicle lineup available in Indonesia. Today, at Mercedes EQ SPACE, two of the first models from the Mercede-EsQ lineup is available, namely the new EQS, which is available in two variants EQS 450+ AMG Line and EQS 450+ Electric Art and the new EQE 350+ Electric Art.
Both these vehicles will pave the way for upcoming Mercedes EQ models in Indonesia explained Choi Duk Jun, President Director PT Mercede-Bsenz Distribution Indonesia.

The new EQS and the new EQE are available at Mercedes Benzauthorized dealers at a recommended off the road price of Rp. 3,410,000,000 for the EQS 450+ AMG Line; Rp. 2,984,000,000 for the EQS 450+ Electric Art; and Rp. 2,215,000,000 for the EQE 350+ Electric Art.(BP)
