OTOJATIM — DFSK has entered Indonesia's plug-in hybrid SUV market with strong momentum after securing more than 1,200 pre-orders for the new DFSK E5 Plus before official retail sales even began. The figure was announced during the opening day of the 2026 GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), where PT Sokonindo Automobile also revealed the vehicle's official pricing.
"The launch of DFSK E5 PLUS in Indonesia marks an important milestone in DFSK's global journey toward the new energy mobility era. Indonesia is one of our strategic markets, and we are committed to continuously bringing innovations that deliver real value for customers. Through E5 PLUS, we aim to offer smarter, more efficient, and practical mobility solutions without compromising comfort for daily use," said Amy Gong, President of DFSK.
The company introduced the DFSK E5 Plus with a special launch price of Rp479 million (OTR Jakarta) during GIIAS 2026. After the exhibition, the plug-in hybrid SUV will be sold at its regular price of Rp499 million, giving early buyers a limited-time opportunity to purchase the vehicle at a lower price.
To strengthen its ownership package, DFSK is offering five years or 100,000 kilometers of free scheduled maintenance. The program covers engine oil replacement, oil filters, related parts, and labor costs, helping reduce routine maintenance expenses during the initial ownership period.
Positioned as a Dual-Energy Premium Urban SUV, the E5 Plus combines plug-in hybrid technology with features designed for family-oriented customers. Among its highlights is a 15.6-inch rear entertainment display for second-row passengers, providing an enhanced in-car entertainment experience during long-distance travel.
The SUV also comes equipped with ventilated seats for both front and second-row occupants, more than 300 sound insulation points for a quieter cabin, Frequency Selective Damping (FSD) suspension to improve ride comfort, and an air purification system capable of filtering fine particles as small as PM2.5.
"With the special introductory price of Rp479 million during GIIAS 2026 and the regular price of Rp499 million afterward, the DFSK E5 Plus offers a competitive combination of electrification technology, premium comfort, and advanced features.
