Otojatim– PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI), signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with several partners from leading company, namely PT Pos Indonesia, PT Haleyora Power, Gojek, and DHL Supply Chain Indonesia, as continuation of Mitsubishi Motors commitment to acceleration of EV and its ecosystem in Indonesia. The collaboration is in the form of a pilot study feasibility test for kei-car class electric commercial vehicle in Indonesia with Mitsubishi Minicab-MiEV model. The joint study of Minicab-MiEV utilization with partners held based on the shared values, also common vision and mission of the company's operational activities that lead to environmental sustainability without emissions, especially in logistics activities.
Under the MoU terms, MMKSI will provide one unit of the Mitsubishi Minicab-MiEV , the model currently marketed in Japan, for research and utilization, and partners will use the vehicle for six months in its logistics operations in Jabodetabek area. This study aims to understand and explore commercial EV applications, by verifying actual usage data, including mileage, charge history and delivery routes.
