"I am very excited about the opportunity to race in the Mandalika GP world championship. Although this is my first experience, I will do my best to showcase my full potential. Especially with the support and direct presence of the Indonesian community. Thank you to Astra Honda for the opportunity given. I will make the most of all the skills I have, including my racing experience in JuniorGP," said Arbi.

Arbi is a graduate of the Astra Honda Racing School in 2019. Starting his international racing career in the 2021 Asia Talent Cup at the age of 15, Arbi, with all his potential, later received a golden opportunity to compete in the FIM JuniorGP.

In July 2023, Arbi made history as the first Indonesian racer to proudly display the Indonesian flag on the highest podium at the JuniorGP world racing championship at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Spain.

Andy Wijaya, the General Manager of Marketing and Planning Analysis at AHM, shared his thoughts on Arbi's journey since joining the Astra Honda Racing School.

"From the beginning, we believed that Arbi had great potential to optimize his racing skills on the international stage. Therefore, AHM, with a 'Satu Hati' spirit, continues to support young Indonesian racers to sharpen their determined and competitive racing character in pursuit of their dreams in the world of racing," he said.

Furthermore, Andy mentioned that all the training and guidance provided at the Astra Honda Racing School would boost the confidence of the students.

"We believe Arbi will be confident, competitive, and never give up when competing against experienced Moto3 World Championship racers, including Mario, who has become a regular in this championship. Let's support Arbi and Mario as they continue to strive to honor the name of Indonesia," concluded Andy.

Arbi's debut adds to the list of alumni from the Astra Honda Racing School who have competed in the Moto2 and Moto3 world racing championships. Among them are Andi Farid Izdihar, commonly known as Andi Gilang, Gerry Salim, and Mario Suryo Aji. Currently, other AHRS alumni are also competing in prestigious competitions such as the Asia Talent Cup and Asia Road Racing Championship.(*)
