BMW Indonesia Releases BMW iX1 eDrive20 M Sport and BMW iX xDrive50 Sport

Otojatim.com - BMW Indonesia kicks off 2024 by launching their two latest vehicles: the full-electric SAV (Sports Activity Vehicle), the BMW iX1 eDrive20 M Sport, and the new variant, the BMW iX xDrive50 Sport.


On the same day, BMW Indonesia also announced their remarkable achievement in 2023 by recording their highest sales record of 5,063 units, a 35.3% increase from the previous year. This record includes 4,172 units of BMW vehicles and 891 units of MINI, with sales growth of 38% and 24%, respectively. This positive trend reflects the continuously growing confidence from customers in the BMW and MINI vehicle range.


As a leader in the premium vehicle segment, BMW Indonesia will showcase at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2024, which will be held from February 15 to 25, 2024. The latest models, including the BMW iX1 and BMW iX xDrive50 Sport, will be exhibited at the BMW Pavilion.


Present at the press conference were BMW Indonesia's management team, including Ramesh Divyanathan, President Director of BMW Group Indonesia, who expressed gratitude for the contributions of all parties to the success of BMW Group in Indonesia.


Ramesh Divyanathan also emphasized the increased interest in BMW electric vehicles in 2023, where they successfully delivered 745 units to customers in Indonesia. With their latest range of electric vehicles, BMW Indonesia is committed to meeting customer demand for cutting-edge technology.


The BMW iX1 eDrive20 M Sport, as BMW's first compact full-electric SAV, offers robust performance with a range of 474 kilometers. Meanwhile, the BMW iX xDrive50 Sport comes with an output of 385 kW/523 hp, providing impressive acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 5 seconds.


Both vehicles also offer the latest technology, such as the fifth-generation BMW eDrive, which enables better charging efficiency and range. Their exterior and interior designs portray the modern and luxurious impression typical of BMW.


BMW Indonesia also reaffirms its commitment to sustainability by using recycled materials and renewable energy in the production of its electric vehicles. With continuous innovation and improvement, BMW Indonesia is ready to deliver a better driving experience for customers in Indonesia.


Both new vehicles, the BMW iX1 eDrive20 M Sport and BMW iX xDrive50 Sport, are now available at all BMW Authorized Dealers, with prices of Rp. 2,627,000,000,- off-the-road and Rp. 1,447,000,000,- off-the-road, respectively. Customers will also receive comprehensive after-sales service, including the BMW Service Inclusive maintenance program and warranty.
