OTOJATIM - Kia has officially launched the All-New Seltos in Indonesia during the 2026 GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), marking the start of commercial sales for its latest global SUV. The model is available in three variants, with prices starting from Rp359 million (OTR Jakarta), following a series of preview events held earlier this year.
"Today, the All-new Seltos is officially launched in Indonesia. We are optimistic that this model will become a new choice for customers looking for an SUV that has been comprehensively developed to support their daily mobility needs," said Harry Yanto, Vice President of Operations at Kia Sales Indonesia.
The All-New Seltos arrives with extensive updates covering exterior styling, cabin comfort, technology, powertrain, and safety. Kia offers the SUV in three trims—GT Line, Prestige+ ADAS, and Trendy—to appeal to a wide range of customers in Indonesia's competitive SUV segment.
"We developed the All-new Seltos as an SUV that answers today's customer needs. It features a distinctive design while delivering improvements in comfort, technology, performance, and safety. Every enhancement was made to ensure customers can truly experience the difference," said Welly Nugroho, Vice President of Commercial at Kia Sales Indonesia.
The launch is supported by the model's strong global performance. In June 2026 alone, Kia sold more than 35,000 units of the Seltos worldwide. During the first half of 2026, global sales exceeded 177,000 units, making it one of Kia's strongest-selling models across international markets.
Inspired by Kia's Opposites United design philosophy, the All-New Seltos features the brand's latest Digital Tiger Face, Star Map Signature Lighting, a more muscular body profile, and streamlined flush door handles. Customers can choose from six exterior colors, including the newly introduced Morning Haze and Magma Red.
Inside, the SUV offers a Panoramic Dual Display that integrates the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system into a single layout. Convenience features include automatic climate control, leather seats with electric adjustment, ventilated front seats, a BOSE premium sound system, and wireless charging.
Power comes from Kia's Smartstream 1.5-liter engine paired with an Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT). Drivers can select Eco, Normal, or Sport driving modes depending on road conditions and driving preferences. Kia has also refined the Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) characteristics to create a quieter cabin experience.
Safety is another highlight of the All-New Seltos. Built on the Advanced K3 Platform, the SUV is equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), Blind Spot View Monitor, Surround View Monitor, six airbags, and a range of active and passive safety technologies. Additional convenience features include Remote Engine Start, Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) with Auto Hold, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and wireless charging.
The All-New Seltos is priced at Rp469 million for the GT Line, Rp417 million for the Prestige+ ADAS, and Rp359 million for the Trendy variant (OTR Jakarta). Visitors to GIIAS 2026 can also experience the SUV through test-drive sessions at Kia's booth in Hall 3J.
