President Jokowi's visit to the Hyundai Booth at GIIAS 2021

Tangerang, Otojatim.com - The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, visited the largest automotive event in Indonesia, the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2021. On that occasion, President Jokowi visited Hall 5-6, which is Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) booth, which is the most prominent area in the exhibition.

The President of the Republic of Indonesia directly visited the KONA Electric, which he had signed during his visit to the Hyundai Ulsan factory in November 2019 at the Hyundai Booth. President Joko Widodo also visited the E-GMP area, a special platform from Hyundai for electric vehicles; Hyundai's flagship EV line leads the EV market share in Indonesia IONIQ Electric & KONA Electric.

The President of the Republic of Indonesia observed the miniature of Hyundai factory in Indonesia – Hyundai Manufacturing Indonesia (HMMI) accompanied by Mr. Young Tack Lee - President of Hyundai Motors Asia-Pacific Headquarters, Mr. SungJong Ha - President Director of HMID, and Makmur - Chief Operating Officer of HMID, Hyundai's factory in Indonesia located in Cikarang,  West Java.

During the short visit, The President of the Republic of Indonesia also experienced the latest SUV by Hyundai, CRETA, that specially designed to meet the needs of Indonesian people, with luxurious interiors and exteriors in its class as well as advanced features that enhance the quality of the driving experience. CRETA is a breakthrough offered by Hyundai and strengthens Hyundai's position as a game-changer in the Indonesian automotive industry.
