Hyundai Held G20 Driver Training for Presidential Security Force and TNI Ahead of the G20 Summit

• PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia held a G20 Driver Training which included vehicle function familiarization and driving experience for Presidential Security Force and TNI personnel.
• Having been one of the official vehicles for the G20 Summit, Hyundai will provide several electric vehicles for the delegates which include Genesis Electrified G80 and IONIQ 5.
• The G20 Driver Training involves the Presidential Security Force along with a joint team from Presidential Security Force, the State Secretariat, and TNI.

Cikarang, Otojatim.com - PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) held G20 Driver Training ahead of the G20 summit, dedicated towards personnel who will operate Hyundai electric vehicles. This training activity will last five days from 19 - 23 September 2022 and will be located at Hyundai Training Academy, Cikarang.

In the event of Indonesia’s G20 Presidency and the summit happening on 15-16 November 2022 at Nusa Dua, Bali, this training aims to introduce the vehicle function familiarization and driving experience for several Hyundai units that will become official G20 vehicles, including Genesis Electrified G80 and IONIQ 5.

This training provides an in-depth briefing for the Presidential Security Force along with a joint team from Presidential Security Force, the State Secretariat, and TNI who will drive Genesis Electrified G80, Hyundai IONIQ 5 and Hyundai IONIQ Electric.

The trainees will experience the technology, driving experience and emergency training on Hyundai's electric vehicles firsthand."

Held at the Hyundai Training Academy facility, this program will provide participants with comprehensive knowledge on the units. Hyundai Training Academy itself has various facilities and high-standard training places intended for members of Hyundai dealerships, including the Sales team training area and the Before Service area, which can improve the quality of dealer members' skills.

In addition, the Hyundai Training Academy, with an area of 1.134m², has seven training areas and a daily capacity of 168 people/day. Hyundai Training Academy currently has 3 Sales Coaches & 5 Technical Trainers, and 1 Non-Technical Trainer. It also provides Certified Trainers for Electric Vehicle Technology.

During this training program, participants will get hands-on material and practice in the form of product knowledge, from features to the latest technology functions of the unit that will be used during the event. Participants will also be given training on preventing emergency car accidents and how to deal with them.

Furthermore, participants will also have the opportunity to drive to experience the performance, comfort, and safety of the car firsthand. Each theory session will end with a review, a sharing session between the presenters and participants, and a post-test to evaluate the participants' understanding of the material that has been obtained.

Training participants will be divided into eight batches and use nine EV units, including three Genesis Electrified G80 units, three IONIQ 5 units and three IONIQ Electric units during the training. Further regarding the G20 Summit, Hyundai will fully support through more than 450 units of electric vehicles including Genesis Electrified G80, Hyundai IONIQ 5, and IONIQ Electric.(*)
